Frequently asked questions
Got questions?
Check out our FAQs for instant answers to the most frequently asked questions.
Can I use my caravan in all seasons?
All our caravans, FROM THE FIRST PRICE, are manufactured according to a unique process on the market called IRP.
The advantages of IRP are BETTER INSULATION, IMPROVED RESISTANCE, and ENHANCED PROTECTION.
Thus, you can enjoy your caravan in all seasons. Of course, depending on your use in the cold season, you will need to choose your heating solution.
What type of heating system for my caravan?
- GAS HEATING : continuous, precise temperature control.
- PULSED AIR : uniform heat distribution.
- FLOOR HEATING : aesthetic, ergonomic and silent.
- TRUMA I-NET X : remote control of heating and air-conditioning equipment.
Is it possible to use my caravan completely autonomously?
Of course, all our caravans can be fitted with a battery or solar panel to make your caravan self-sufficient in all circumstances. All our caravans also feature a toilet and water tanks to complete this autonomy.
What type of car do I need to tow a caravan?
We strive to develop and produce lightweight, easy-to-tow caravans.
This is the very DNA of CARAVELAIR.
So you don’t necessarily need an ultra-powerful vehicle to tow one of our caravans – that’s one of our strengths!
On the highway or in the mountains, does my caravan risk swaying?
Careful driving and proper loading of the caravan are the secrets to good road stability. However, anti-sway and/or stabilizers can be added to your caravan if it does not have them as standard.
The important thing to remember is to distribute the load well in the caravan before departure.
